my girls 91's clutch is hard to push down and when its engaged it makes a buzzing sound. is this the pressure plate acting up?

Could be a release bearing. Though it doesnt really make a buzzing sound. Sounds more like vibration of metal to metal and grinding.
I would bleed the clutch first and see how that affects things. If the trans has been off before, now would be a good time to explain what was done.

well when we got the car it had a rebuilt engine. my guess is that they didnt touch the clutch. the shifter bushings are still out too. but now my question is how to bleed the clutch? link or anything?
EDIT: looked through my shitty haynes and found instructions. ill give it a whirl tonight or tomorrow, whenever the wifeys down. thanks man.Comment
