    fuel pressure gauge

simple question, makes sense in my head but i thought id double check with yall

will an oil pressure gauge work as a fuel pressure gauge?
    (electric sender and gauge)

oil pressure gauges and senders are alot cheaper than electric fuel pressure gauges, which doesnt make sense to me cause they seem to be the same thing to me.

I know that im using a generic (not fuel specific) mechanical gauge for fuel psi. Im not sure if the fuel pressure sender is different than a oil sender.

Im just curious but what exactly are you doing that you need to monitor fuel pressure all the time?

You're not going to plumb a mechanical fuel pressure gauge into the interior, are you?

Dumb question, I know, but I had to ask...

no im not, which was why i wanted the electrical one so i could have something in the car, but it i need to take a reading while driving ill just put the gauge up with the wipers
