Anyone had one? I heard E36 one will fit, is it correct?

I have one and use it almost every time I drive my car. With it and the windows up 80mph is calm and quiet compared to without it. Dunno about the E36.

I remember this guy, Alex325ic, installed one. Here's his cardomain:

He posted a few bits of info about it on the Roadfly e30 forums. If I remember right, the main e36 windscreen fits fine but you will have to fabricate the flat panel that covers the rear seat.

Here's a quote from him that I dug up:

"Yes it can work. I did just that. you only need to make another rear section that contours the rear seat door panels. i made a template, then out of particle board cut and the covered with black vinyl. looks better than the E30 windscreen that sits very high. if this sounds like more work than dollar savings,(which it could)then hold out for an E30 one. I paid $20 for parts and then the rest is time spent."

          Tim,
Can you post up a pic of how it mounted? My panel does not have any hole.

the hooks insert where the seatbelt comes out

and then the back plastic part is sandwiched under the top cover
