no haha. i have a shitty haynes manual and i went by that. whats the best way to bleed it and do you think this will fix the problem? ive replaced master cyl and bled the brakes, that was easy as hell, so i assumed this would be pretty straight forward.
before i bled it, the clutch was fine, and the it seemed that the slave was just making noises. so i bled it, and now it just falls to the floor. like...i tap it with my foot and on its own just straight to the ground.

sounds like a dead master cylinder if there is no resistance to the pedal and it just swings about.Just a little project im working on

when i press the brake pedal, the slave sinks down to the floor if that helps. i dunno, on my vert, when the slave went out, the pedal did the same thing. then when my master went out the clutch was fine but the brake pedal would fall to the floor... and this didnt happen til i bled the slave so its gotta be that imo...

only a little bit of fluid bled out, and in the brake fluid reservoir the fluid amount didnt really change...to the point that i didnt need to add any fluid. im clueless honestly. i dont want to spend all sorts of money getting a new clutch master and slave cyl either. i really want to figure out exactly which one it is if either at all...

Try pulling the pedal back to the position it should be, removing the cap from the reservoir, and removing the slave cylinder from the transmission. Push the rod on the slave cylinder in slowly and release the rod slowly. Do the same a few more times. This reverse bleeds the system and has always worked for me when I had no pedal feel.

The clutch slave cyl is upside down. When you tried to bleed it you put a bunch of air in it. The bleed screw has the be the highest point of the slave cyl in order to bleed it use a piece of hose attached to the bleed screw that snakes upward then back down to trap the air bubbles in the hose and not the slave cylinder. Otherwise use a power bleeder.

Sounds like also you should have bench lubed the slave cylinder upon installation.
I just did my master and slave clutch cylinders last weekend and it took a lot of pumping and fluid spitting to get all the air out.
Also, the pedal will stick to the floor if it still has air in it. Have one person in the drivers seat pumping the pedal then hold it down. You, under the car, open the bleeder valve on the slave then close it. Pump 4-5 times and hold it to the floor etc. Repeat until the pedal feel is gone and you are pouring fluid from the bleeder valve.
So yeah, sounds like you didnt bleed all the way. Power bleeder would help but not necessary.
And take all of the advice above. Its legit.
