    battery relocation need quick help

Hey guys i am currently workin on a few things in the cab including relocating my battery, i need to know where to route the cable. I tried going over the wheel well and through the rear window area but that used up too much length. And theres a passage on the far right hand side of the trunk firewall but the passage is too small, should i just run it through one of the big holes (i will go get pics in a second)? Also there is no hold to pass the cable through to the engine bay, i looked through the engine bay photo thread and it looks to me like theres a passage under the A/C lines that it passes through, is this correct?

    Thanks for the help

Well the cabs are different along the whole path that the cable takes. You will most likely have to make holes larger that are too small and make others exist that do not. You might have to go under the carpet and foam up front due to clearance near the kick panel, but its worth trying. If you drill a hole to send it through, use a grommet.

Just did this in my vert - now the car won't start :(

Where/how did you ground the battery in the back? That's the only thing I can think of...I used the one exposed bolt for the rear bumper in the battery "hole" in the trunk...

It will be paint and dirt thats the problem. I cant remember, but are the strut mounts visible from the boot (trunk). I usually just sand the painted area below one of the nuts, use the earth on that (tin connector) and tighten it back up. You need to make sure its something with a good ground to the chassis, the more direct the better, but the surface needs to be free of paint, dirt and any sound deadening material.
Just a little project im working on
