Air Conditioning Compressor harness plug question.

So, like nearly every damn plug on this beast, the A/C compressor plug that meet the wiring harness is cracked and broken. Question. my Compressor has a single wire on the male side and three wires on the female side. What gives? is this normal? or am I missing some special wires. If I can ditch the other two wires I am gonna hook up another type of connector since the male side is complete broke with not enough wire to solder to.

Two of the wires get jumpered in the factory harness... So the compressor's single lead only hooks up to one of the chassis harness wires.. I'd have to look at it again to find out which one...

perfect...got it!The "jumpered" thing threw me off because it was all wrapped in tape so it looked like 3 wires on the harness side. for anyone who ever reads this I had the male/female flip flopped in the Original post.
