    Need help ID'ing clutch parts

Does anyone recognize this flywheel? What car is it from? I weighed it and it's about 15-17 lbs (hard to tell on an old bathroom scale) Will it work on a 325i?

Also, Which of these clutches/pressure plates is for a 325i?

This is off a 89-91 325i. Looks like what you have there. What is yours going on?

They are going on a 325i, but I don't know where the flywheel is from. Possibly a 323i, but it is different from the one you are showing ^. Take a look at the side with the stepped lips, and on mine the raised lip is much smaller than on yours. It's also lighter than a stock 325i flywheel.

Is there a small metal rectangle on the side of the flywheel for the speed and reference sensor pickup?

323i is a single mass flywheel and comes in at around 13lbs.

Would it be OK on an 325i? I know t will bolt up, but am I going to get a shitty idle and lots of rattles because it's so much lighter than stock?

You really should have your bottom end rebalanced when you shave 12lbs off one end of the crankshaft.

Motors with the above flywheel idle fine and dont rattle at all when using them. Heres mine, stock, http://youtube.com/watch?v=tuFD8Qg7xd4

Running one, worst i think you might find is a bit of vibration and resonance because of the weight difference, but you can encounter a host of problems in a bad case senario.
