    Center Support Bearing Diretion

I am installing a new csb onto my driveshaft but I forgot which way the old bearing was on it. I have looked but cannot find any pictures or diagrams showing it either. The bearing has a rubber lip that pverhangs on one edge and it is flush on the other kinda like this ]|| Can someone tell me which way the lip is supposed to point? Thanks.

The nipple end goes towards the trans .
This raised nipple area is where the the cap and c-lip go to secure it to the back part of the d-shaft .

    Noob .

PS : Plus doesn't the CSB have a arrow that poiints towards the trans ?

If you are replacing the CSB because of a failure of the rubber mount, the cause of that is almost always binding u-joints in the drive shaft. If you don't also replace the drive shaft (with new or rman unit) your new CSB will have a very short life.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
