Oil cooler differences by year?

Pelican lists 2 oil coolers for the e30's that have them.
One for thru 8/87 and one for 9/87-91.
I need to buy a used one. Is it gonna matter what month/year the donor car is or will any bolt right up?
Oh and I'm rolling a 5/87 325is

Equal rights should be all or nothing, not picked and chosen based on what's convenient for ones personal agenda.

Your need the one for up to 8/87.

The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
