    breather hose?

I had a leak in the area where the coolant goes to throttle body. In replacing the gasket, the breather hose from the valve cover to the throttle body broke. Is it possible to replace this hose without removing the intake manifold?

Yes, I bought the hose and replaced it without having to remove anything. It was kinda a pain to get it on and clamp it down on the throttle body side since it is a pretty tight space to work in, but I did get it on and has been working fine.

It's possible, just a pita. Get a friend to help.

Easy job. Get a metal coat hanger, straighten it out, and feed it through under the intake manifold. Wrap the coat hanger around the hose so its snug, then pull the coat hanger (with hose attached) back through. Done.

Hardest part might be finding a metal coat hanger. I keep a couple around my garage just for this kind of thing, and for holding up brake calipers when I've taken them off the rotor.

I put a shoe lace on onside then fed it through.. worked as well. As always I had no one near me to help.. too some time, but it went.
