overheating problems: bad clutch fan??

Question: When you start up your E30, does the temp tach jump straight into the blue, or does it go straight to the first line before the blue?

When you start it, or when you flick the instrument cluster?

Sorry, had to. Just checked - goes to the first line (before the blue) when started.

it's the same thing .Both times it should go to the first line when the engine is cold .(the line before blue!)
