318i Tranny and 325e tranny

are they the same?

If i buy a 1984-1985 318i M10 tranny will it bolt up to my Eta engine.

Now what about an M42 actually thats a good question as well. Would that bolt up?

M10 has a different tranny than the M20.

Getrag 260 only, make sure it has the two bellhousing holes for the crank/speed ref sensors.
