Another speedometer problem..

I know there are plenty of threads already about this, but they are usually for just the odometer not working.

My speedometer doesn't work, along with my odometer and tripometer. I took it apart and all the gears seemed fine, but did i miss something? Or is this just the speed sensor in the diff?

Check the wiring to the speedo pulse sender in the diff. The wires become brittle and disintegrate.

your problem is a lot more simple than the usual odometer problem.

It is definitely something with the speed sensor in the diff (which is really easy to access btw)

Either the wiring or the sensor itself. Usually the wiring, but also usually, the wire will become brittle and break right at the sensor, so you will need another sensor with enough wire left over so you can splice it in.
