    shuddering from drivetrain

a while back i bought an 87 325is it has a bad shudder when accel. and deccel. until about 30mph but when i put the clutch in or maintain throttle so theirs no load it doesn't shudder. ive hade the drive shaft checked, center support, guibo all that.my diff is a little worn but not terrible.
Could it be some thing in my tranny? also it starts out at a low speed shudder and aroud 25 or 30 it s more a vibration

Sorry for the horible punctuation and spelling.

Checked your engine mounts? Trans mounts?

And did you check or a real shop check?

Who did you have check it? Reason I ask is because I bought a 88 325is two weeks ago which had the same problem. The lady who owned it had the guibo and the center bearing change just a few months ago. As soon as I replaced the drive shaft the problem went away.
what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.

my 87 325is does the same shudder-annoying thing too.... and also its no so bad up to 20mph, but then from like 25-40mph, all bad.... so this past weekend i was up under the car changing out the shifter, and i noticed that one of the bolts that goes into the guibo is missing....its just not there.... could this be the reason? regardless i'm gonna replace the bolt, but it would be sick if that fixed the problem...

I know you said that you checked the driveshaft,

But I say it's driveshaft. Center bearing, guibo, u-joins (2), and balancing mechanism inside of the rear half of the driveshaft.

take it off, and shake it.

incase it hasnt been fixed....just replace the driveshaft like discussed above. I had a similar problem in my cabrio...and now it drives like butta!
driveshaft probably wasnt aligned when they replaced those parts...

they are balanced from the factory. They were marked from the factory with white dots. Sometimes the dots wear off.
But if you take the driveshaft apart for a CSB install. You MUST MUST MUST mark the driveshaft and put it back together the same way.

should be aligned when it was manufactured. Or it will most likely have line-up marks on it.

Any good deals on Reman Drive Shafts?
