Check your engine ground. It's the one that runs from your oil pan to the frame. To test this, take one neg clamp of your jumper cables and clamp it on to your oil drain plug, Take the other neg clamp and clamp it on a well grounded location like a strut tower and then crank. If your car starts, then you need to replace the ground cable.

First check the battery to see if it has enough charge operate the starter. Anything below 75% charge (12.4v) is iffy.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

He's right, check the battery first. I jumped the gun a little bit there.

thanks guys. i'll have to check that out after i get off work today. My buddy and I came back to the parking garage and got it all setup to be towed away by his truck. Just as we were pulling out I turned the ignition just for giggles and it started no problem and drove it home and then for the rest of the evening. So i'm not sure what's up with it? maybe loose connections or something? all the lights in the dash display up just fine. I'll test the grounding once i get home this afternoon

Sounds like the ground. Mine did that when it went bad, sort of comes and goes.

same problem...hopped in yesterday the car started fine...my gf was druiving it and since my seat doesnt go up, she cant really reach the pedal..soo she stalled out...then we went to start it agian and it would crank but it wouldnt start..did it like 2 more times, then the car woulndt even make a sound when you would turn the key.

so i push started it, drove it back down the drive way and let it sit for 10 mins...turned it off, and now it just doesnt do anything. :(

              anything?anyone?
