    Car running shitty symptoms inside.

Well, my car died on my for the first time today. I'm thinking clogged fuel filters or something along that line, but here it goes.

Driving with my friend back from the shop to check out Davids new toy (Ferrari 348) my car started acting really funny. I had to slow down, so i put the car in nuetral, and when I put it back in second gear and gave it some gas the car wouldn't accelerate, it would just bog down, so i put it in neutral again, gave it gas, and it revved perfectly. I eventually coasted into a bank, and waited and tried to start my car for 5 minutes. My friend was like "dude, hit the dash and see if she starts" so i did, and it started. THe car ran for about 5 minutes, then started doing the same thing. I towed it back to my house where it sits. I'll try driving it around tomorrow to see if its acting up.

So basically the car just bogs down when in gear and im trying to accelerate. Does it in every gear. Fuel problems(1/4 tank of gas now) or would it be something like my Throttle position sensor?

One of the easiest/cheapest things to check out first would be to simply swap ECUs with a friend.
I had bizarre and spontaneous stalling/starting problems for a while. A "new" (used, #173, vs. faulty #153) ECU solved the problem.

Check your fuses also to see if they are malfunctioning. Could be a fuel pump relay fuse is messed up.

found the problem. Vacuum leak. The hose that runs from the intake manifold to the FPR was cracked near the manifold. Free fix from Pepboys.
