What are these for in the Odometre?

In my car, The one wire is plugged into the one that is circled?

What are the other ones for?

All the plug holes.

go on e30 tech and search for diy article on those. They are actually all the same plug on the same side. I believe its not for cruise either, I think it also controls the tach too.

Deffinatly not tach because mine works without any of those plugged in.
