i still can't quite get through emissions. i know that the timing is controled by the dme, but can i manually take some of the initial timing out by retarding the dist initially, so that i will have less advance at full to try to help with emissions?

recent oil change
cleaned the t bird maf elements
new cat
very recent seafoaming (twice on the top end and i can in gas 2 tanks ago)
valves adjusted a couple of months before going into the hospital
it has dbilas itb's
300ish deg. cam

^^^ it has passed with all this no prob before with just a new cat and a slight detune on the arc-2a

nox is 3.1 with an alowable of 2.50 (fail)
hc is 1.04 allowable is 1.0 (fail)
co is 4.02 allowable of 12.00 (pass)
here are some quick specs
i was talking to a freind that told me about diusconnecting one of the injectors to go through, it is an old fox body mustang trick. i might try that as a last resort. it should pass w/o doing that though!
