    lighter flywheel

I bought the lightweight flywheel kit form zions for my m50 e30 and found out it does not weigh 11 lbs. like they told me, but it weighs 13.5 lbs. How much lighter can i have it made? how light is to leight, or is it like hp never a limit?

You could always do a Carrera GT style setup w/no flywheel. :)

And instead of using the standard dual-mass flywheel, the Carrera GT uses a patent-pending hollow transmission input shaft with an inner solid rod acting as a torsional spring to damp any power fluctuations from the engine.

I live in Georgia. how light is light enough? the carrear GT has a flywheel, doesn't it? I watched a download on it once, that car is bad a$$! rather have it than an ENZO.

can the good ol boys around here lighten it up or is it a professional only job?
