    Tach jumping/temp sensor jumping

Just swapped diffs and installed a manifold-back exhaust, and went for a test drive, tach is reading close to accurate but travelling 500 rpm's back and forth in the general area of correct RPM's. Temp gauge doing the same. One of the yellow lights on the inspection guide at the bottom of the cluster flashes as they fluctuate.

Never did this before, just since the new diff and exhaust - my initial thought was the speed sensor in the new diff was bad, but that shouldn't affect it, right? It doesn't do it at idle, but once I start driving or increasing the rev's, it starts jittering.

    Thoughts?

I am not sure that it is related. I am having the temp gauge issue and SI warning. I am thinking that it is the SI board and I am going to deal with it till this winter.

SI board or possible conductor plate.
