    heated seats

    where is the relay for the heated seats located and is it already in the car if the car did not come with heated seats , and what dose the relay even do? just wondering thanks.

    Fuse box for the relay. If you have a relay in K5 its there. Also need a 15 amp fuse in location 16 in the fuse box. Heated seat switches power the relay, relay powers the seat heaters. The switches cannot handle the juice needed for the seat heaters, that's why the relay.

      Thanks , I alreadyhave the fuse in 16 , I will check for the relay , also ,where do you plug the wires from the relay in the cab? thanks again.

                Ok , so I wired my driver's side seat up , and still have one question , I found where the larger wire onder the knee bolster went ,but on the schematic , it shows one more wire going to the relay from both the switches , where dose that wire plug in? thanks.

                    Sorry, didn't see this post. There should be one single ground wire and one plug in the loom that go under the knee bolster. One is a ground that attaches to the ground lug up there with all the other grounds, the other is a plug that plugs into the accessories block. The plug only fits in one place, do to its shape.
