    P/N for unknown hose

I'm looking for the P/N for the hose that connects to the T-fitting (number 12) to the top nipple on the firewall. I havn't been able to find it!

Really? One of the hoses coming out of that T fitting is that $50 one though (coolant outlet/Thermo housing/T-fitting), so how is that possible?

I know what your saying, but I'm talking about a different hose all together that is not listed in that diagram.

The hose I'm looking for connects to the #12 T-fitting and is not the candy cane shaped hose or the $50 dollar hose. It goes from the T fitting to the firewall.

Yup that looks like it, but there’s still a small dilemma.

If #1 from the link you sent is the hose I need, that means #2 should be the same part number as #9 on this link:

                  http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...64&fg=99&hl=13

Am I correct? That is how I remember taking everything apart, and that is how I have it right now. #9 is connected to the mini thermostat to the bottom nipple of the heater core. However #9 is a different P/N than #2 in the link you sent.

Also, #1 looks like it’s longer than is what’s needed from the firewall to the T fitting.

                  Hmm

NONO, there are shit load of hoses there. Look at your throttle hoses, look at the hose leading into the back of the cylinder head, don't get confused man.

                      I guess I'm still confused. ;)

The link you just posted was for the early systems. For the late model:

                      http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...67&hg=11&fg=35

#13 is the hose that connects to the T-fitting, correct? (coolant outlet to thermo/T-fitting)

I guess what we should be discussing is what #9 connects to:

                      http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...64&fg=99&hl=13

I say it connects to the bottom nipple on the firewall, but you say other wise. What should it connect to?

Alright, well right now I'm very confused as to the way it should be. I know exactly how i took everything apart, but what I’m finding out is the way everything was might have not been the right way. I need to help confirming a few things before anything goes back together.

                          what does #9 connect to?

                          http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...33&hg=64&fg=18

What does #1 and #2 connect to?

                          thanks in advance
