What is the best oil to use, specifically in a 89' 325i with 180,000 miles. I'd think this would already be covered if I searched for it but I saw nothing about it and instead a What Instrument Do you play thread. :?

i'm pretty sure it's been covered. search for just "oil" in the topic, and this section only. anyway, 15w50 is pretty common for warm climates. lots of folks seem to like castrol gtx. i've only had my e30 for a month, and i used 10w40 gtx on the first oil change cause i didnt know. i will go for 10w40 for this winter and will go to 15w50 next spring.Comment
