Where to solder back of speedo? WITH PICS

Hey everyone,

I've got a dead speedo and am trying to fix it by resoldering the circuit board on the back of the speedo itself. I've read a few diff. threads about people doing this, but none had pictures and I'm pretty clueless on soldering circuits. Could someone tell me where exactly I should retrace to fix my dead speedo? Also and tips on how to solder the board would be great. I've done plenty of soldering to connect wires, but never a circuit board.

Here is a picture of the back of my VDO speedo unit. Any help would be really appreciated!

Any of those joints that look crusty/black etc.. Just heat up with the iron and let the solder reflow. I see maybe 10 joints that could use some reflowing, also go threw and do continuity checks on the traces, like see where it starts and ends and make sure the lead trace isn't broken in between.
