im going to burn my car

first of all, i fonally figured out the misfireing problem i had- a small rip in a spark plug wire was arcing on the block. new wires, ran great, cool.

now, today i drive to work to get my cell phone i left there last night. everything is going ok, stop and get fuel (93 for once) and pull out of the gas station and the car just dies. no sputtering, no nothing just up and dies. so i manage to get the car over to the side of the road and start looking at the shitty wiring.

i mess with a few things and it starts, runsgreat, then just dies instantly. the pump is priming, the ms is staying lit up, but the car just up and dies. feels like a fuel cut out of some sort

ive read to check the injector harness which is what im going to look at first. any other ideas?

    thanks

I'd suspect the fuel pump relay or main relay

when it is running, take a screw driver...blunt end and tap the relays...to see if it clicks and causes car to die. If so replace it. When Fuel pump relays start to go, they can act intermittently... as in go to take off and the car dies...or driving along and car dies. The motion is the trigger many times.

Mine did the same thing- ended up being the injector harness connector beneath the intake manifold as you mentioned.
