How hard is it to swap to plastic bumpers onto an '88 325?
How can I tell if my car is an e, es, is, etc? It just says 325 on the back.
How much will a 5 lug conversion cost?

Easy just take the plastic bumpers with the shocks and swap them with the aluminiums, after taking off the rubber surrounds.

Your's is a super eta "e" if it's an 88. Only made one year. If theres no i/s/x it's always an e car.

Not looked into cost so I can't say.

I don't think you'd need a 5 lug kit.

M-tech 2 cheap? Nowhere. Of course you could be meaning the least expensive too.

That means its most likely a super Eta, The intake manifold will look more square when compared to the "I" manifold. You will also have a smaller throttle body. And I believe the Seta had the single exhaust like the Eta did. compared to the dual pipes found on an "I"


How much will a 5 lug conversion cost?
Depends on if you want E30 M3 or E36/z3 parts.
Z3 are cheaper but you will have problems with factory offset (so i've heard.)
I'm personally going E30 M3 and I'm in $800 in parts so far and don't have everything yet.

Depends on the person, if you want bigger brakes and more wheel choices just for looks then no. If you want it to have it then thats up to you.

Replica's are on sale numerous places, search the F/s section for OEM and After market.

Hub-centric As far as i know.

No, not without lots of work. And then it would be stupid anyway.

None cause you shouldn't do it.

offset is the messure of the wheel around the hub I think. Someone else will know for sure.
