Ball Joint Replacement

I'm putting in some bilstein sports and eibach springs into my 86 325, and I cant remove either of the struts without damaging the outer ball joints. Is it possible to replace the ball joints in the control arms, or do I need to buy fresh control arms?

you can replace just the ball joints if you like. but u will need a ball joint removal and instaltion tool.

any shop would have that.
