Oil inspection light won't turn off after oil change

The car hadn't been driven in about a month and a half (crazy work trip had my flying back and forth to Chicago and I otherwise work from home, so no need to drive anywhere!) and tonight I finally had a night free so I got to that oil change I wanted to do a month ago.

Put a Mann filter and Synthetic 10-30 in it.

Started it up to reset the service lights (dunno if they were on before I did the oil change, but they weren't on the last time I drove the car) and they won't turn off. I use the Peake Research tool to do the reset. It's always worked in the past.

Any ideas? Is my board bad now?

Batteries may have died from sitting for so long. Drive it around for a while and then try and re-set.

Good call, I was going to try that tomorrow and cut out of work early. We'll see. Can't really afford to go replacing the SI board right now...

You can just solder on new batteries though.

Incase anyone cares, that did the trick. It's reset now. Guess she was mad I hadn't driven her in a while. :-)
