m42 starting issue

Air... Replaced all vacuum lines and gaskets for upper and lower intake manifold

Fire... I am only getting spark on cylinders 2 & 4, 1 & 3 are not sparking

Fuel... New fuel filter, no leaks anywhere, fuel in the lines at the injectors and I can smell fuel when cranking


Any ideas on where I should look?

At one point, I got injector codes of 2 & 4, but I swapped injectors with 2 & 3 and the codes went away...

History with the car... sat for about 2 years... according to seller, it was running when it was parked, but I do not believe it.

What are some common things that go out relating to starting problems?

So far I have only found something regarding the fusible link leading from the battery the rest of the vehicle...

Check the coils, plugs, wires, and ECU if you're not getting spark.

Also, don't crank it over too much with the fuel pump running. I fucked my bottom end by doing that... gasoline is an oil solvent.
