Getting out gas

Me and a freind are attempting to remove gas form an old eta.

but theres a catch, the drain plug wont budge.


we siphoned most of it out, but cant get to the last 1/4

nail and hammer...

unless you are planning on reusing the gas tank.

in that case pull the line going to the fuel filter and let the pump do all the work

Siphon until there is only 1/4 inch of gas left, soak up with rags. That's how I did it.

If you are in a garage with a gas burning water heater, turn it off and blow out the pilot light.
