    AC problems

AC blows hot air. Thought it migth be fan resistor, but it checked out OK. I can hear clicking when AC button is pushed and see that fan is on in front of the radiator. There is a little sight hole for the AC where I can see moisture. Any AC gurus out there???

You're probably low on refrigerant. But turn the AC on and check the compressor to see if the clutch engages, If not jumper it from the connector to a 12v source like the + on the coil, and see if it engages then. If it does, it's the pressure switch or low refrigerant.

You need a set of manifold gauges to diagnose it. Jumping the clutch will tell you that the clutch is working and nothing else.

You probably have a leak, which you must fix. This is common on old cars, even with low miles.

If the clutch doesn't first engage, then the gauges are useless. Check to make sure the equipment works.
