Check your brake light switch at the pedal to be sure that its decompressing when you push the pedal.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. Mine was still decompressing but the lights wouldnt come on, just had to order a new brake light switch.

        2 questions!

        1) before i order a new one! is there anyway i can test the switch to see good or bad!

        2) if i take off the the switch on the plug! should the brake light comes on!

They wont come on by unpluggin it.

If you have a meter, you could test it.

The switch closes the circuit when the pedal is pushed down.
