Should I paint my trim?

I was just wondering if anyone who has painted their trim could help me out...

I have a 1989 BMW 325iS and I was just wondering if anyone who has painted theirs left it on their car or took the trim off, and also was it hard to do?

Which trim? Window, side, bumper... ?

i was talkin about the trim around the sides of the car (along the doors and bumpers)

personally i think the trim looks horrible painted on the stock bumpers but thats just me...

If you plan on keeping it black, since you hardly said anything in your original post, use SEM trim paint and yes, take it off. Duh.

imo painting the trim looks good when you have a nice set of sideskirts, otherwise i think it makes the car look a little incomplete
