Window/ sunroof switches...

Are the switches for windows and sunroofs the same? cuz today at the junkyard i got a pair of lighted window switches, one for a window switch that burnt out, and one for the sunroof which never had a lighted switch. So my question is, should a lighted window switch work in a non-lighted sunroof? thanks,

hehe, yep, i just had to break off one of the little tabs on the lighted switch... thanks ken!
