I would use a leather dye on leather (or shoe polish...sounds crazy but its good for those scratches and scuffs). You should go to a local upholstery shop and chat with them. I wouldn't recommend painting you dash all wacky colors. Keep it period correct, ie: 80's style. If you want to change the color of the dash I'd go white and use cocaine to do it (very very 80's :nice:)

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

i painted my tan fabric inlay door panels black with dupli color black vinyl spray.....the vinyl must be cleansed, preferably with soapy water and a sponge or scotchbrite lightly....then it can be painted. the vinyl comes out good paint is strong and flexible enough for the panels. it looks so close to stock if you didnt try and scratch at it you wouldn't have known.

the fabric on the other hand came out good at first, but after about a year you can see where the wear marks from opening and closing the doors.

On leather, paint doesn't work...you'll need a dye.

use SEM color coat(spray). most auto paint supply stores will carry it. also get the SEM vinyl prep spray while youre there. give everything a good soap and warm water scrub. then hit it with the vinyl prep spray, then bomb it with a lot of very light coats of the color coat. i promise you if done right it wont go anywhere and will look OEM.
