changing out my winshield wipers

i need to know how to get out my blower motor assembly, got the covers out, just need to know how to get out the motor

There is a metal band clamp you need to release.

release the metal band clamp with an awl or small screwdriver on the tab that goes down toward the bottom of that tray.

rotate the motor so you can lossen it up.

unplug the 2 wires that provde current to the motor.

you have to finagle with it but it will come out.

I've done this job (replaced the whole wiper transmission linkage, actually) and that's a good guide there.

No need of taking the wiper transmission out or even loosening its mountings when you know the trick ...

Ha ha, no kidding. The Bentley says to take the wiper motor and transmission linkage out as one piece, but there's no fucking way they can come out together. It was tough enough getting the linkage out with the wiper motor already disconnected and removed.
