    I was gonna plop the thing down on the dash and make my decision
    I might just fit the gauges face up to the right of the hand brake.
    Ive seen it done that way before, and I like the way it looks.

                Bryson - that looks perfect. Looks like it came stock that way.

                Who cares if you can't see if really easily? Seriously, how often do you need to check what those gauges are telling you? Everyone WITHOUT those extra gauges has no trouble. They're not really needed unless you have a modified engine that you're racing/autox-ing. Mostly they just look cool, and they look VERY cool out of the way next to the handbrake - especially keeping the E30 ergonomic theme of "a driver's car", like how the dash is angled to the driver.
