    Power for Maplights?

    Okay... so i need to get some power to my maplight mirror that is not a big deal just rob some power off the check panel.

    Except how and which pin?

    Year of your car?

    My Bentley shows constant 12V on the red/green wire for '84-'86 models and red for '87-90 models.

          i just wired mine to a light purple wire, it comes on with the key. solid purple (there are two, use the lighter one) if you have a late model with an srs active check control.

            I'd tie in the power from the door lights, so the map lights came on when you opened the door. Super trick. :)

              if i wired them to lets say the dome lights would i be able to turn it on and off. :D

                Well, you'd have to have it set up so it always had 12V but the lights would come on when the doors were opened. With a little wiring trickery inside the mirror it could be done. :)
