First,curb weight of e30 is around 2700lbs. Strip all you want CRX will be lighter.

Second, and this may break hearts, but CRX with a 2.2 v-tech properly tuned, is faster than e30 with s52.


CRXs are light and handle well. No shocker CRX with stock engine were giving M3s a run for their money in the Firehawk Series.

Just do it, have fun, don't get caught and stop asking stupid questions.

Their is a site with a breakdown of weight for different years and models. The one wiki quoted sounds like the 84 318i. Grassroots racing did a track car and weighed each item they stripped from the car.

The gay ones are always the first one to deny it. I've never confirmed, nor denied my gayness, only commented on gayness of my various activities (ie: Playing violin, modding E30s...)
