Heater valve differences?

Does anybody have both an early and late heater core valve on hand to compare them? Is the electrical connection on both the same?

I am trying to confirm if one from a 325i will work on my 318i, the heater core itself is the same, but the valves show different part numbers on realoem.

What's wierd is i have two different valves and they both say they are for the same models.

I'll take some pics tonight and post them. Shoot me a PM to remind me.

Here are the two i have.

First one: 64 11 1 386 706



Second one: 64 11 1 386 707



Only difference I can figure out is one is for a Canadian Model????? Anyone?

(Both are brand new and for sale $70 shipped)

Thank you, so the pipe length is different as well or is it just the angle of the shot?

I bought one from a 325i, give me until this weekend for it to arrive and see if it will work ok?

BTW, the 706 is for the heater core where the holes aren't next to each other.
