pistons..for the 2.8

there are a lot of different companies making forged pistons.
je are like 825
ross are like 537
vanolia are around 400

all are forged, which ones would you get and why...are the je worth the extra money?
To me it seems hard to justify 300 or 400 extra dollars for them, but if it can be justified i'd like to know why

I have Ross pistons and they are almost EXACTLY the same as a JE. They work great.

Anyone had experience with Mahle pistons? Alpina used them in their 2.7's.

Mahle is the shit. If I had my choice those would be the pistons I would use. My dad's shop uses those pistons and cylinders for their Porsche 911 engine rebuilds and they ROCK!!! I can't say enough good things about them. :up:
