Hi-
i have a project 1987 325 that has been sitting in a garage with the same tank of gas for about six years, so its no longer flammable. The drain bolt is stripped and I can't siphon anymore out. I have found that if I disconnect the fuel line from the manifold and crank the car, I can get it to pump the gas out. My question is: is there a way to disconnect the starter so that it doesn't kill the battery or is there an easier way?
