    Stalling problem

My buddies car is acting up and we are trying to figure out what the deal is.

    Scenario:

He pulled hard in first gear to redline, shift hard into second (spun tires). When it was in second it started chuggin when given gas (no power). When taken out of gear it will idle for a second then die. It will start right back up but needs constant throttle to stay running (needs to sit at 2k).

    checked air, fuel and spark.

what else could this be? could it possibly be a bad ground?

This car has been running perfect before this.

    Thanks in advance!!

did you bounce it off the rev limiter in first, then jam it into second for the scratch into second?

qft, the load on the engine on a hard 1-2 shift can cause small cracks in the air boot to become big leaks
