Q's for Turbo M20 guys...

ok, so i want to throw a turbo onto my M20, and i want to know what mods i need to make to the car in order to make it work rite @7psi.

i know i need:
turbo exhaust manifold
turbo charger(thinkin something small like a T3/T4 hybrid) w/wastegate
intercooler/piping
boost controller
modified intake
maybe a pop-off valve on the intake manifold to prevent overboosting
modified exhaust system.

what i need to know is, what kinda fuel system mods would be required to run this setup @7psi? and also will it work with my JC chip in the ECU? also will i have to change out the piston rings and headgasket as preventative maintanance? i know 7psi is pretty low, but i figure it will be about a 60-80 hp gain, and thats good enough for a daily driver. thanks for yer help guys.

Yup! Jordan is correct, forget the chip! will blow up your engine with the turbo.

You need a properly sized turbo, depends how fast you want go, but judging from what are you saying I think a Garre T3/T4 with .48 A/R hot side for fast apooling( Ihad that one in the past) and something like a T4 housing with .60 A/R cold side.

FMU? fuel management unit? is this a standalone fuel system? sorry, my only turbo experience is with my nissan, and it was built for a turbo from the factory. i want to avoid having to use a standalone system, which is why i am keeping the boost low. i was hoping to get away with just an upgraded fuel pump, adjustable FPR, and bigger injectors...

you can run up to 15-16 PSI with upgraded fuel pump and 24 LB/h injectoirs with this Super FMU with out major problems, stock ecu, but need retard timing
