    Spark plugs

Has anyone ever put autolite ($1.99) spark plugs in their car. I replaced them with oem plugs less then a year ago and was having some fuel issues and they are shot. I believe my fuel issue is solved but i want to make sure without going through another set of good plugs. Will it be a problem to use the autolites or is it not even worth it? Anyone have any personal experiences with them?

If you're going to be cheap, commonly available plugs, get NGKs

WR9DC's are only like $1.50 each, why would you use anything but the stock plugs from bosch? Oh and NGK are also BMW reccomended.

If you ask me, autolites are strictly for fords. I wouldn't put those anywhere near a German car and as stated before, the OEM equivilents are cheaper, so why spend more for a shitty manufacturer?

I just pulled my autolites with only about 8k on them to put in NGK's. I counldnt find em locally before but now the NAPA near me has plenty. I always go with standard NGK's or Bosch Super's.

I have an eta. I run WR9LS's which are $4.95 each.

I put the autolites in, runs fine. I'm doing to pull them in a couple weeks, see how they look. If all is good I'll put a new set of bosch's in.
