    3000 - 3500 rpm problems

Hey guys, a question. I finally got my 318i back on the road and it runs pretty
damn good. Thanx to everyone who's helped me.

Another question: why does my car seem to "surge" when I'm in the 3000rpm to
3500rpm range? I can't seem to figure it out.

    Thanks for helping.

a friend of mine's e30 did the same thing and it was because the spark plug wires would arc at a certain rmp for some reason. or so he said.

honestly, no, but i would guess that he either replaced the wires or made sure they didn't touch anywhere.

I checked my wires last night, none were touching.

          Any other ideas?
