igniton switch symptoms

if an ignition switch goes, what are the symptoms?

any one have any ideas?

power could stay on to various systems inside the car even when key is out, accessories could turn on at anytime. engine ignition may cut out while driving if key ignition thinks its in off position, some accessories may not turn on and thats all i know of

well my car does cut out sometimes. it was alson wont make a sound sometimes when i turn the key to start it but all of the power comes on??? idk it runs fine once its pop started??

Bad starter. You might be well served with a volt meter gauge.

thats what i thought but im just not sure becuase it will start with the key sometimes

replace the ignition switch. i have one around here somewhere that worked when i pulled it if you want to buy it.
