Why are parts cheaper in the US than Germany??

I live in Germany but parts are cheaper on pelican, bavauto or BMA. The parts boxes that I get from these sites are in german with english stickers on them but they are still cheaper than if i go to the parts store downtown.

So I guess it is cheaper to make it in Germany and ship it to the states and then ship it back to Germany cheaper than originally buying it in Germany and paying Euros.

hahaha same thing I encountered while living in Italy. Could get parts cheaper and faster than going to the dealer
