    High Temperature Reading

The temperature on my car reads that it is high. When i am driving on the freeway, the temperature lowers a little bit. But what's weird is that the temperature says its overheating, so i put the heater on its highest settings, and the air coming out is cold.

    Any suggestions?

I'd guess you have a bad water pump or perhaps a clog somewhere in your cooling system. Coolant is obviously not flowing properly. I'd suggest not driving it until you get it figured out though!
