Just got my New (81) Euro 323i on the road after a new water pump and timing belt. Started up and herd this high pitch hummm.. First thing I did was unhooked the stereo amps, then the speakers because the buzz changes with the RPM change. That’s not it, it is the MSD Ignition Box mounted in the little cubby under the hood (by the glove box). Can anyone tell me if this is normal to here this? I like to here the engine roar.
